Carter Brangus was founded in 1996 by Bart and Vicki Carter. Bart purchased a few cows from a longtime Brangus breeder Garth Lunt. From there Garth advised and helped build the herd we have today. We continue to carry on many of the bloodlines Garth used and have added several others. We strive to build the best Brangus to suit our customers needs. We continue to "Focus on Quality".

Bryce Carter, Manager
Bryce has worked for Carter Brangus since the beginning. As he went through high school he became more and more involved in the entire operation. He took a two year break to serve a mission for his church and came home got married and made the decision to continue his education in the Animal Science field. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a BS in Animal Science. Today he runs the everyday ranch management and marketing tasks to promote our cattle.
